Pre-Alpha 0.2.0 Released! Running Moves, Tackle Attack & New Enemies

Hey everyone!

Time for a big update on my lewd beat ‘em up game, set in a grim sci-fi universe and starring the fierce (and very curvy) Heidi. I’ve just released Pre-Alpha version 0.2.0, and it brings new combat mechanics, enemy variety, and overall progress toward building the core gameplay.

Let’s dive into what’s new!

🏃‍♀️ New Move: RUNNING + TACKLE ATTACK

You can now run! Heidi is no longer limited to walking speed – hold the direction to break into a sprint. This opens up smoother movement and a faster pace.

Even better – while running, you can now perform a tackle attack that knocks down multiple enemies in your path! This is a great way to crowd-control enemies and adds that satisfying retro beat ‘em up feel.

• Hold a direction to run.

• Press attack while running to launch the tackle.

• Enemies hit by the tackle will be damaged and knocked down.

This makes combat feel more dynamic and aggressive, with plenty of room for stylish plays.

New Enemy Type – with 3 Variants!

To give you more variety, I’ve added a new enemy type with three different variants, each with their own stats and behavior: Each variant has different strengths, so you’ll need to think about your approach. In future updates, I’ll be adding unique behaviors and animations for them, including some lewd elements (stay tuned 👀).

Development Notes

This is still an early Pre-Alpha, but the core combat system is shaping up. My focus has been on getting the feel of the game right – responsive controls, enemy interactions, and fun movement.

• Grab mechanics and throw moves.

• More lewd animations.

• First boss design.

• Visual polish for combat effects and feedback.

I’m also keeping an eye on performance, especially for Android builds.
